- Academic International Press : Founded in 1964, Academic International Press is a scholarly, commercial publishing house specializing in reference works about Russia, the Soviet Union, Eurasia, China, United States history, sports, and religion in North America as well as ethnicity and nationalities. - Academic International Press: Russia and Eurasia Academic Figures Annual
- EastView Publications: Books, periodicals, maps, and other information carriers from Russia and CIS.
- IDC Publishers: Academic publisher specialized in preserving rare archival materials and primary source documents on microform and in electronic formats. IDC has amassed a 'library' of over 65,000 individual titles in the fields of Arts, Philology, History of Science, Economics & Social Sciences, History, Jewish Studies, Law, Human Rights, Religion and Area Studies. These are the links to its collection in Russian and Soviet studies.
- Iskra Research Publishing House: Publication of Russian language Marxist classics with the political support of the International Committee of the Fourth International.They intend to publish historical, social, political and cultural works of the Marxist enemies of Stalinism in order to "reveal the hidden pages of history". An anti-stalinist, marxist publishing house.
- Kubon & Sagner: As a publisher and bookstore, Kubon & Sagner supplies newspapers, journals and books from East and Southeast Europe on a world-wide basis and the publishing department issues scholarly publications on Slavic languages and literature, as well as on East and South-East European history, especially cultural history.
- NAUKA: NAUKA is an international academic publishing company formed by the Russian Academy of Sciences and Pleiades Publishing. Inc, together with Interperiodica, its English translation division. These companies produce high-quality English translations of leading Russian scientific journals simultaneously with their publication in Russian.
- Panorama of Russia specializes in non-fiction, predominantly reference works from the Russian Federation and the Commonwealth of Independent States. These include books, periodicals, manuscript and electronic products from academic and commercial publishers. The fields covered are philosophy and religion, government and politics, military and legal affairs, humanities, literary history and criticism, history and social sciences. - Biblio-Globus: All the books on different subjects, published in Moscow and St. Peterburg you can find and order here. Invaluable resource for those, who want to be aware of book life in Russia.
- Humanus: Since 1997 "Humanus" provides the information on the Internet about the arrival of new book in the humanities at the booksalons of Moscow and St. Petersburg. The description is close to librarian standarts, with a small annotation. At present this site provides only the information and is not a virtual bookstore.
