- The American Bibliography of Slavic and East European Studies (ABSEES): The ABSEES is being compiled since 1956 under the auspices of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies (AAASS). ABSEES covers the Northern American Scholarship on Eastern Europe, Russia and the former Soviet Union and contains bibliographic records for journal articles, books, book chapters, reviews, dissertations and selected government publications.

"Central Asian Studies World Wide" website, and provides a listing of recent dissertations in the field from throughout the world.
- The European Bibliography of Slavic and Eastern European Studies (EBSEES): EBSEES is a companion for Europe of the American Bibliography of Slavic and Eastern European Studies (ABSEES) and covers materials published in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The site itself is in French.
- RussGUS: Initiative of the Humboldt Universitaet (Berlin), RussGUS is a bibliographic database of Russian and CIS publications covering the fields of culture, science etc. (in German).
